Note to self: You can do this. You can make it through these changing things one day at a time.
You're learning to take this day by day. You're learning to breathe deep and trust, while you wait. But there's no secret that these changing things are hard. You know that this is only one part of your story, and there will be other chapters, but it's still so hard to trust that there's more to all of this change that is happening before you.
You know that in life, things change, but you did not see them changing this way. Perhaps you wish you had more time. Perhaps you prayed for better outcomes down the line. I just hope you know that the fact that you care so deeply about this closing chapter shows that it matters.
The good things you experienced before this change are not in vain. Things may never be the same because people move on in a thousand different ways, but those beautiful moments that seem so far away, still matter, all the same. So as you let go, as you prepare to open your heart to embrace this new season. This brand new unknown territory: trust. Trust that for all these changing things, there's endless boundless peace woven into every single exhale you release on this journey.
There's room for healing here. Surrender. Resolve. Release. You may not feel it all at once but you're still learning to be free.
Embrace the process.
Embrace the story.
Embrace the journey of letting go.
Everything you're learning about surrender right now
will matter more for these new open roads.
Be present to all the things surrender is teaching you.
Trust that for everything you are leaving behind,
there's peace to be found for your weary mind.
And as the morning sun lifts up over the hills
Remember that beyond all you feel,
grace will find you
no matter what is unknown.
I hope, for all of the change, you find belonging in unexpected places. I hope the rising of the morning sun remind you that waiting was worth it. Even though the journey to this new day was far from perfect. I hope in this new season you feel alive, knowing that even though you're leaving so much behind, you were still made to come alive. Knowing that even though this change is taking so much out of you, Light is still pouring through. You can keep traveling this journey.
