IT IS STILL POSSIBLE FOR YOU TO MAKE IT THROUGH

One thing I hope you know is that you are more prepared than you think. You might feel as though you do not know how to prepare for all that is ahead, and it’s true: you may not know all of the logistics of how everything will play out, but you can know this: you have known unknowns before. You know what it means to work through difficult things. This is not the first time you have faced unknowns. This is not the first time you have had to live with unanswered questions or unanswered prayers. It has not been easy, but it is a reality that you have come to know... and it’s also a place in your life where you have come to know grace over and over again.

Right here, right now, there are moments of your life you have not been able to make sense of. And there are also moments where you can see, through all the chaos, you have found the grace, wisdom, courage, strength, resilience, and hope to keep going.

Of course, you would not have been able to articulate it that way at the time, but now, you know. You know that over and over, you have made it through sunrises and sunsets that have reminded you: it is possible to make it through. And it is also possible for you to look back and see how you have been strong... and also, how you can now be gentle with yourself.

And it is so important to be gentle with yourself because you will continue to face questions. You will continue to travel through life hearing the noise of the outside world, and it will distract you and maybe even discourage you. You will encounter situations that you can’t fix on your own. And over and over, you will encounter the grace-filled reality that you have known unknowns before, and one breath at a time, it is still possible for you to make it through.

Remember this:

When it comes to your fear of the unknowns ahead, you're more prepared than you think. Let this give you peace so you can also enjoy the good possibilities that exist in the unknown.
