FOR ALL THAT YOU CANNOT CHANGE, I HOPE YOU ARE ABLE TO NOTICE WHAT IS CHANGEABLE

For all that you cannot change, I hope you are able to notice what is changeable. I hope you are able to notice how even as the sun changes position in the sky and the sunlight that graces the walls shifts and changes, perhaps there are ways that you are changing too. Subtle ways that most people might not even notice.

It is not uncommon to go a whole day without paying attention to exactly where the sun is positioned in the sky. And yet, the sun moves and it moves and moves. And we do too. We change even when others don't notice, maybe others don't notice either. So perhaps with all of this considered, there is room for good change. Good change that might not always be easily recognizable, but it's still there and it's worth creating space to notice what might change.

Because maybe the way we encounter joy might change. Maybe a vibrant, enriching joy has been waiting for us all along, but it's tucked in small things we might have overlooked. Look for good change however you can find it and let it build into a daily awareness of noticing when things shift and change, and the sunlight shines in.
