BEING FREE FROM YOUR FEARS
Confidence is less about how we appear in the world to one another Jesse and more of an inward posture, a deeply rooted, inner-knowing that we are inherently worth loving whether others see it or not.
Confidence is an assurance that shows up on the inside of you when you are waiting for beautiful things to find you and you realize that it is worth it to keep living. It is worth it to finally start that thing you have been putting off for way too long. Confidence is realizing that the fear of failing might not leave you today, but you can keep going anyway. The fear of greatness, the fear of things actually working out, might be there, too, but you refuse to keep putting off the things that have been stirring inside of you.
The world is changing. Uncertainty abounds. And yet, you still need to exhale. You can only hold it on for so long. You can only say “no” to yourself for so long.
Let this be the season you look back on and say,
“I am so glad I chose to be brave
I am so glad I chose to pay attention to all the good that was stirring inside of me
Despite the uncertainty that surrounds me
I am choosing to be free from the lie that I am unworthy.”
Your fears may not leave you today, but I hope you can continue to be a little less afraid.
Seeking clarity where you need to seek clarity, and letting go where you need to let go.
Pay attention to what is stirring up inside of you right now?
Where do you feel pressured to give more than you give right now?
What things can take the backseat this very hour so that you can give time to sowing seeds?
You have become so accustomed to being there for others. You were taught to put a smile on your face and be “nice” to everyone. But the way you are with others should not cause you to forget yourself. You are worthy of love just as much as anyone else. May your confidence never come from how others do or don’t respond to you. Allow yourself to have gratitude for your meaningful relationships while knowing relationships alone do not determine your worth. Go deeper. Go beyond the surface. Trust that you are inherently worth loving whether others see it or not...
