YOU'VE BEEN LEARNING TO INVITE GROWTH
It's only natural to wonder what lies beyond what's right in front of you. "What lies beyond the familiar?" you may ask. "Will it be good? Interesting? Worth the wait?" These are big questions, and they may not have easy answers. But with each new day, new month, and new year, the questions persist. It's only human to be curious about what could be, especially as the weight of the unknown intensifies.
In this space of uncertainty, you may find yourself waiting with a lot of unanswered questions. The unknown future can turn waiting into worry. But remember this: the clarity you seek for the future will become clearer with time. With time, you accumulate experience and grow in wisdom. Even if you can't recall every single thing you've learned in real-time, that doesn't mean you haven't been learning how to move through this.
Just like navigating a familiar journey without actively thinking about every movement, everything you've learned along the way has strengthened your ability to keep traveling onward, even before you know exactly what tomorrow looks like. Because even though tomorrow is brand new, the ways you've been learning how to move through each day have subtly, yet meaningfully prepared you to carry on with courage. Recognizing and accepting your gradual and sometimes intangible growth helps alleviate the pressure to try and make sense of every new unknown right away. It creates room for a more measured and hopeful approach to the days ahead.
So here's to embracing gradual growth and taking a mindful approach to the unknown. In doing this, you create room to face new experiences and untraveled paths with hope and possibility. Not because you suddenly have everything figured out but because you know that when it comes to all of the uncertainty you have already encountered, you have already been growing in wisdom along the way. All along, you have been laying the groundwork for learning how to move through change. You've been learning to invite growth. You've been learning to foster hope. And as you prepare for the rest of December and all that follows, that matters more than you've yet to know.
