YOU HAVE MADE SO MUCH PROGRESS

As we near closer and closer to the end of the year, you may be starting to think of all that lies ahead. You might be thinking about the gardens you are anticipating blooming to life. Or, you might be thinking about the mountains you're about to climb. Whatever you're thinking about, may you never forget all of the courage and wisdom you've gathered up to this point. May you never forget about all the ways you've learned to move on—all the ways you've practiced letting go and leaving old ways of thinking behind you. You have made so much progress.

Remember the worries that used to consume your mind but no longer do.

Remember the plans that didn’t turn out the way you expected them to, but you found peace, anyway.

Remember the long periods of waiting where somehow, you learned to be gentle with yourself.

Remember the small flickers of hope that helped you dream again.

Remember those tender moments of connection that made you believe: you had not seen the end of love.

Remember the lessons you’ve learned along the way that have made you wiser today.

Remember the grace that has continued to find you over and over again.

The journey is long and winding, and yet, you’ve lived long enough to learn so much about this course. And as you move forward toward the future, may you always remember that you can carry those lessons with you.
