October 2023 Affirmations

The October affirmations are here!

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been deeply focused on how a few words a day can describe various experiences as we move through each day, each week, each month. My hope is that these affirmations invite you to explore and describe your journey in just a few words at a time each day. Feel free to screenshot them and also take them and make them your own. For instance, if you read one during October and find yourself wanting to add or change it, that's great! Let it be a prompt, a way of finding ways to tell your story. Feel free to take a screenshot or add them to your journal.

October 2023 Affirmations

Week 1: Begin

Sunday, October 1: May this October bring unexpected joy and moments of peace.
Monday, October 2: There are new ideas up ahead of me.
Tuesday, October 3: I am finding the courage to be myself.
Wednesday, October 4: I am slowly finding peace in knowing I don't have to figure everything out at once.
Thursday, October 5: I am allowed to practice being content while learning to name my needs at the same time.
Friday, October 6: Small actions add up; I appreciate my incremental progress.
Saturday, October 7: I navigate this day with gratitude.

Week 2: Grow

Sunday, October 8: I will navigate this week with gentle strength.
Monday, October 9: As days turn to weeks, I will keep creating space to breathe.
Tuesday, October 10: While learning, I respect my unique process and know it's okay to take my time.
Wednesday, October 11: I approach each new learning opportunity as a chance to grow.
Thursday, October 12: Learning and growing is a journey, and I'm navigating it at my own pace.
Friday, October 13: I am making time for things that help me grow.
Saturday, October 14: As October moves onward, I continue to seek more love, joy, and peace.

Week 3: Discover

Sunday, October 15: I embrace today as a canvas for meaningful discoveries.
Monday, October 16: As I move through the day, I uncover layers of meaning that make life fulfilling.
Tuesday, October 17: I treasure the subtle reminders that make my story uniquely mine.
Wednesday, October 18: In this moment, I create room for small joys, however I find them.
Thursday, October 19: I am finding new ways to appreciate life's unspoken beauty.
Friday, October 20: I am learning to find the hidden value in seemingly ordinary experiences.
Saturday, October 21: Today, I recognize the value in both my efforts and my rest.

Week 4: Harmony

Sunday, October 22: I will move through this week becoming more aware of my own pace and needs.
Monday, October 23: It's okay to conserve emotional energy when needed.
Tuesday, October 24: Through all the things this world may ask of me, I'm learning to remember my own needs.
Wednesday, October 25: As I move through today, I am allowed to notice and find meaning in both simple and profound experiences.
Thursday, October 26: There is so much I can learn from others. I am not alone. I will keep seeking out meaningful connections.
Friday, October 27: There's worth in acknowledging my boundaries.
Saturday, October 28: I'm currently realizing that I don't have to do it all, and that realization frees me to pause, reflect, and seek out new ways of approaching the future.

Week 5: Hope

Sunday, October 29: In moments of doubt, I remind myself of my capacity to learn and adapt.
Monday, October 30: Through it all, I am free to dream. I am free to imagine. I am free to hold onto hope.
Tuesday, October 31: I am looking ahead with hope.
